“To forget the self is to remember that we don’t exist alone, but in relation to other people, to other creatures, to the planet, and the universe.” ~ Steve Hagen
As I walk through each day on my path of personal freedom, I am not surprised at the amount of people I come across who believe that they are all alone in this game we call life.
I ask them why they feel this way to hear what they feel inside, because I too walked many moons with the same exact feeling of being completely alone in this world.
I do receive the same answers from just about everyone. The first and foremost is “Nobody gets me” “No one could possibly understand what I went through or am going through”
Those are always followed by the three king fears. “I’m not good enough” leads the way, followed by the feeling of rejection and not getting what we want.
I’ll let you in on a little secret. “You are not alone”
I know, it’s a real mind bender. But it is true. There is someone out there who knows exactly what you are going through, anything from low self-esteem to abuse you wouldn’t wish upon the Devil himself. Would you be surprised when someone tells you “I’ve been there and made it through, let me help you too” And more likely than not, they are right there in your inner circle of people.
We are ashamed, frightened, and scared what others will think so we do not ask for help or support. This is Fear saying “You’re not good enough” “You are not worthy”
Remember that you are more than good enough for yourself and everyone else. If you have been following my blogs than you remember that in “Fear of not being good enough” I talked about working on letting go of that Fear..
There are people out there in the world who are willing to help and be the ear that you just might need. Relax, trust and surrender, and reach out to someone. You are not alone.
I also awoke to a God consciousness. “When Lord Jesus spoke his message to humanity, ‘The Kingdom of heaven is within’ he gave us a clear indication of where to look. Similarly, when Babaji pointing at our hearts and spoke ‘I am YOU’ He also gave a clear message where the Divine resides. Buddha said the same kind of thing when he said, ‘everybody is the Buddha.’ All great prophets and realized teachers have been telling us again and again where to look but compelled by our lower nature we have our focus on the delusive external world with its bright flashing lights full of misery in between the sparkles.” ~ The teachings of Babaji
I encourage each and every one of you to look within. Find a higher power that works for you and ask for a personal relationship. I am not talking about praying in the morning then going about your day taking control of what needs to be done, but to ask for a personal relationship with your higher power.
Learn to pay attention in all that you do. Keep your God close, for he is already one with you. It is you that needs to wake up to the Divine magnificent spirit of love and light that you already are. God created you that way. Remember he is with you always. God is one with everything, so he is everywhere as told in the old “Davey and Goliath” cartoons. “God is everywhere”
It is up to you to reconnect to him. He never left you; it is Fear that causes you to think you are all alone and that God does not care about you. He does, more than you could possibly imagine.
Once you build your relationship up with God, you will realize you were never alone, he’s been there all along. And the comfort that comes with this knowledge is enormous.
And finally, after working through all your Fears, you will see how you can make a difference in someone else’s world who feels all alone. You will be able to be present for them, caring, nurturing, with compassion and empathy.
“Strangers passing in the street, by chance two separate glances meet, And I am you and what I see is me” ~ Pink Floyd
We are all connected. We are not alone. We are one with the universe. Let go of Fear, the thought that you are in control, because you are not. Trust and surrender to God. Reach out your hand and be present.
Now as I walk the path of a peaceful warrior, I am never alone. I am connected to all the creatures around me. The birds, cats, animals, and insects. I am one with the trees, lakes, and oceans. I pay attention to their lessons put before me.
I am one with every human being on this planet. From my one true love to my biggest petty tyrant and everyone in between. They, above all else, are barriers of wisdom, if I pay attention.
I walk side by side with God, holding his hand as he leads me into abundance of love, compassion, and joy. I am never not with God. He is first and foremost in my dreams of the future. He is my protector, and because of him, I am never alone. I am paying attention today. Are you paying attention?
I wish each one of you a very Happy New Year filled with love, blessings, health, freedom from fear, and good cheer.
